Chelsea holds a double degree: Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Italian and International Relations, and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Deakin University. She has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in of Legal Practice from the Australian College of Law. Cale opt Hoog is an Associate in the Commercial Team with a focus on private lending, leasing and transactions. With 5 years of experience in commercial law, he excels in drafting transaction documents and facilitating completion of transactions. Cale holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University and is passionate about building on his experience in commercial law.

Recent Career Highlights:

• Successful Supreme Court proceedings for the enforcement of a second mortgage – Financier Australia Holdings Pty Ltd v Zafar Property Group Pty Ltd & Ors.
• Prepared vendor finance loan documents and facilitated urgent drawdown to enable settlement of a $10 million property transaction.
• Acted on leasing matters for landlords (including shopping centres) and tenants, in Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.

Rhiannon holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Her practice areas include property acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development projects. Known for her hands-on approach, she ensures her team operates efficiently and that all clients benefit from the same commitment to achieving positive outcomes.

Jackson is a commercial solicitor with a focus on commercial litigation, defamation and business acquisitions and disposals. With 8 years of experience in the legal industry he excels in conflict resolution and problem solving in litigious and general commercial matters. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Laws/Arts from Deakin University.

• Successfully settled a defamation claim against a prominent national retailer.
• Recovered outstanding employee incentive payments from a non-compliant employer.
• Advised on and settled acquisitions for significant hospitality venues including a beach club and a skating rink.

Freya’s key focuses at Sutton Laurence King are property development, house and land development, and commercial law. With a strong background in conveyancing including working on complex property transactions, she specialises in property and development law. From Freya’s experience working with a range of clients on a diverse range of property and commercial matters, she has an astute understanding of how to assist business owners to achieve their goals.

Freya’s qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts. In past roles she has worked in the areas of property development, conveyancing, contract drafting and negotiation, negotiating with Government bodies on planning permissions, lease agreements, lease transfers and settlements, powers of attorney, sale of businesses, loan and security documentation and debt recovery.
