Commercial

Blaine is a client-focused lawyer with extensive experience in property and commercial transactions. He has a strong background working with both small to medium-sized business owners, and large developers. At Sutton Laurence King, Blaine’s focus is on commercial law including Commercial Disputes, Structuring, Trusts, Lending, Finance and Intellectual Property.

His formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Blaine’s broad experience includes acquisitions, disposals, corporations law, trusts, private lending, employment law, commercial leasing, planning, construction law, financial services law and capital raising.

Freya Southwell

Property

Freya’s key focuses at Sutton Laurence King are property development, house and land development, and commercial law. With a strong background in conveyancing including working on complex property transactions, she specialises in property and development law. From Freya’s experience working with a range of clients on a diverse range of property and commercial matters, she has an astute understanding of how to assist business owners to achieve their goals.

Freya’s qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts. In past roles she has worked in the areas of property development, conveyancing, contract drafting and negotiation, negotiating with Government bodies on planning permissions, lease agreements, lease transfers and settlements, powers of attorney, sale of businesses, loan and security documentation and debt recovery.
